NEW CAR SERVICE & REPAIR – WARRANTY

Do I have to use the dealer for repairs and maintenance to keep my warranty in effect?
No. An independent mechanic can do routine maintenance and repairs on your new vehicle. In fact, the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, which is enforced by the FTC, makes it illegal for manufactures or dealers to claim that your warranty is void or to deny coverage under your warranty simply because someone other than the dealer did the work.

Will using ‘aftermarket’ or recycled parts void my warranty?
No. An ‘aftermarket’ part is a part made by a company other than the vehicle manufacturer or the original equipment manufacturer. A ‘recycled’ part is a part that was made for and installed in a new vehicle by the manufacturer or the original equipment manufacturer, and later removed from the vehicle and made available for resale or reuse. Simply using an aftermarket or recycled part does not void your warranty.

Total Car Care

Automotive manufacturers know that a well maintained car, truck or SUV increases the owner’s satisfaction because the vehicle is more dependable and will last longer. That’s why the manufacturer (“factory”) creates detailed maintenance schedules. At a minimum, be sure to follow the factory maintenance schedule. While you should always consult your owner’s manual, many manuals recommend that you service your car more frequently than the manual specifies if you drive in “severe” conditions. Any of the following qualify you as driving in severe conditions: driving in stop-and-go traffic, frequent short trips, extreme temperatures, towing and hauling, driving at prolonged high speeds, frequent start ups and shut downs of the ignition, extensive idling or driving in mountainous terrain.

Our Auto Repair Shop can provide all of your vehicle’s service needs specified in the owner’s manual. Our skilled mechanics perform a wide range of services, making our Auto Repair Service Station your one-stop shop for all of your vehicle’s repairs and maintenance.
